But you’ll also be on holiday, so we’ll make sure you get to experience all the sights and activities Gran canaria has to offer. This includes cultural visits in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, where you will spend time with our Spanish students from the island and you can really immerse yourself in the language. For a little more excitement, we offer a range of water sports and adventure activities, too. There is also the possibility of visiting other Canary islands including Fuerteventura, Lanzarote and Tenerife.

➤ Enjoy exhilarating water sports including surfng, kayaking, snorkelling, wind surfng, kitesurfng, paddleboarding, parasailing, jet skiing, banana boat riding and much more.
➤ Take part in adventure activities all over the island, including camping, canyoning, hiking, quad biking, rock climbing, mountain biking and you can even try camel riding.

know the locals and how they live.
➤ Or choose to stay in one of the area’s most amazing rural hotels, Hotel Maipez, which is located in the beautiful district of Tafira just 10 minutes from the city centre.

Covent College International has four language schools based in the centre of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, the capital city of Gran Canaria Island. The latest school is just a fve-minute walk from the city’s vibrant and historic Old Town. We offer language courses from one week to six weeks, and we take students from the age of eight upwards as well as adult learners.
