How we teach

Natural learning through play

Classes planned to motivate the youngest learners and encourage language use from day one, with games, songs and routines. Covent is pure fun!

Specialised attention

We adapt to the needs of every group and student, making the youngest learners feel comfortable.

Family involvement

Communication and cooperative work with families is essential to a better learning process. Families are constantly informed about the content covered and about their children's progress.

Special events

How we teach

At this stage our methodology remains eminently playful, but written production and comprehension are added to oral communication, greatly expanding their knowledge and progress.

Our goal is clear: students speak the language with absolute confidence, security and fluency, eliminating the habit of translating what they want to say. By prioritising fluency and direct thinking in the language, we ensure our students finish their academic cycle with the highest level of language competence.

Real and effective communication

We emphasise both oral and written comprehension and production. Contact with English remains constant, 100% of the time. From this age there is one rule at the academy: everyone is addressed in English, both among peers and with staff.

Continuous progress

We offer personalised tracking of every student through regular reports for families. Thanks to our dynamic and playful methodology, students integrate learning naturally and almost unconsciously — yet the results are evident. Our system guarantees skill acquisition in a simple way, always betting on creativity and fun.

Creative Environment

Games, theatre, role-plays, music, crafts, artworks, exhibitions and science experiments are some of the tools we use to reach our standards — they are the very foundation of learning.

Preparing future Cambridge candidates

This stage marks a key milestone: the beginning of grammar study and the termly assessment of the four language skills. Although they don't yet take external exams, every activity is designed to shape successful future candidates. This is where we forge a solid base for the official exams ahead.

How we teach

When students reach this stage after six years in primary, they have a solid foundation to engage with advanced content. The programme now focuses on much more specific and complex points, with the spotlight on acquiring the different official Cambridge certificates.

If English is the key that opens the doors to the future, at Covent we guarantee they open.

Advanced level

Progressively, students climb towards the highest levels. By emphasising every skill (reading, writing, listening and speaking), they gain ease, fluency and confidence.

Preparation for the future

English plays a fundamental role in every area of today's world; this should be a motivating factor for their university and professional futures.
